With over 25 years’ experience as a Master Hairstylist/Instructor, Elizabeth is not only delighted to be working in her home community but is also the proud owner of Personal Image Hair Studio. Having previously worked as a Technical Educator with Redken, Elizabeth is passionate about giving clients customized solutions for their haircare. An unsurpassed client experience in service and skill is her goal with every client that comes through the salon door. She is not only a Certified Redken Colourist but a Certified Keratin Smoothing Systems stylist too
Kelly Curtis, Master Stylist
A Master Hair Stylist with over 24 years’ experience, 21 of those years being right here at Personal Image. Her dedication to her skill and experience is evident with every client that sits in her chair. Kelly’s passion for education is continuously being fed with many updating classes. She loves all aspects of colour and cutting and does everything she can to make sure her very loyal clients are happy and looking their best at all times. Kelly is a very valued member of our team and would be delighted to see just how she can help you and your hair style.
Janice Hamill, Master Stylist
As a Master Hair Stylist, Janice has over 24 years’ experience, 18 of them here at Personal Image. She has a love of all aspects of haircare and specializes in using all different types of cutting tools, including razors to give your hairstyle the very personalization you are looking, not to mention being a specialist in colouring, so she makes sure that your new haircut looks even better. Janice is also certified as a Keratin Smoothing System Stylist.
Katie Schnare, Master Stylist
Katie, a Master Hair Stylist brings with her passion and love for Balayage, Ombre, and all forms of personalized highlighting techniques. She also loves up-styles, braiding and wedding hair. She is an honours graduate from HDC School of Cosmetology which means she has a lot of experience with all types of hair and hair care. Katie is continuously expanding her knowledge of specialized colouring and cutting techniques through hands-on training, so if you are looking for a personalized highlighting technique for your hair, Katie can really help you achieve it.
Victoria Seymour, Stylist
Victoria is a passionate Hairstylist that loves to make people feel confident and happy. She is always continuing her education for hairstyling with classes in Toronto, Moncton as well as here in Halifax. She also has worked back stage with Redken at Atlantic Fashion Week, and this matches her always on trend image as well as advanced techniques in hair color. She loves Balayage, Baby lights as well as traditional natural blending highlights. As much as she loves the creative side of hairstyling she also has an amazing attention to detail to make sure her client is happy and able to recreate their hair style.
Cheryl MacDonald, Master Stylist
Cheryl is a Master Hairstylist and Aesthetician that brings over 15 years of experience to Personal Image. She is a graduate of Concepts School of Cosmetology. Cheryl pays amazing detail to all of her work on clients from every haircut and color to all waxing and manicures and pedicures. Her welcoming and warm personality makes all of her clients feel right at home in her chair within minutes of just meeting her. She has always prided herself on continuing education in Aesthetics and Hairstyling. Her passion is eyebrow waxing and lash lifts and pedicures. She is on trend with all cutting and personalized highlighting techniques
Rebecca Young, Master Stylist
A master stylist with 12 years experience, Rebecca is returning home from spending the past eight years working as a successful hairstylist in a busy Calgary Salon.
Rebecca loves doing razor cuts along with short hair. Being a fine haired girl herself, She truly understands how your needs to be treated. She also has a lot of passion for all sorts of colouring trends to help accentuate the shape and style of your hair.
Brittany Paquette, Stylist
Brittany graduated from HDC in 2013 and brings with her passion of styling hair.
Her favourite things to do our natural beautiful highlights, blowouts to accentuate your gorgeous hair and men’s fades.

Maria Hatch, Aesthetician & Salon Coordinator
Maria attended CBBC Regency Salon in Halifax. She has two important positions with us. She is one of our two Aesthetician but also our Salon Coordinator. She enjoys the one on one time with her clients making them feel confident, calm, and comfortable. Manicures are her new found passion, helping every client achieve healthy, beautiful nails. Maria also loves the attention to detail and organization that comes with Salon Coordinator. If you have any questions, she’s the one with the answers!

If she had to choose a number one hair service , it would be colour transformations! No job is too big. She loves healthy shiny hair. Her passion for this industry is completely evident in the first few minutes of sitting in her chair. Cutting and blow outs are also a strong point with Maryam. Our newest member to our team,Abigail brings a fresh energetic perspective to the salon. She has a passion for fun trendy colours as well as beautiful blonde hair. She loves long hair and making it beautiful! Her warm personality and sense of humour make her clients feel welcome very quickly in her chair.
